Can I order a custom countertop or wall panel for a room other than the kitchen?

IKEA's custom-made worktops and wall panels have been extensively tested for use in the kitchen. It is important that these items are therefore mounted in a heated and well-insulated room. We strongly advise against using these items outdoors or in a shed, garage or bathroom.

It is possible to use our worktops for other purposes, such as a table top or desk top. However, there are conditions of use and assembly that guarantee the quality of your worktop.

If you want to order a worktop or wall panel and use it outside the kitchen, we always recommend that you do this in consultation with our kitchen specialist.
