What should I consider when assembling my IKEA refrigerator or freezer?

You mount an IKEA fridge or freezer in a METOD cabinet, under the worktop or freestanding in the room. Remember that the appliance is securely mounted and that you can always fully open the door to slide open the drawers inside.

Are you mounting the appliance in a METOD tall cabinet element for a refrigerator or oven? Then remember that the cabinet is level and attached to the wall to prevent the cabinet from falling forward. Mount the refrigerator on a UTRUSTA fixed ventilated shelf so that your appliance receives adequate ventilation and is firmly positioned in the cabinet.

Are you mounting the appliance under the worktop? Then carefully follow all the steps in the installation instructions. If your kitchen has a baseboard of 9 cm or higher, you will need to place the appliance on an elevation. With the height extension unit you can easily adjust the height of your METOD cabinet.
