What parts does a modular VIMLE sofa consist of?

A modular VIMLE sofa consists of a base, armrests, covers, cushions and legs as standard. You can choose to add a chaise longue or footstool yourself.

A VIMLE sofa is made up of various modules that are all individually packaged. You can therefore easily take your sofa with you in (flat) packages.

It’s good to know that not all parts of a VIMLE sofa are called VIMLE. The frames are called RÅTORP and the cushions are called KARHULT or MÅNSTORP. VIMLE is also the collective name for the loose covers.

Legs
The VIMLE sofa comes with two different leg sizes: 4 cm and 6.5 cm. The legs are packed with the armrests and footstools.

Cushions
If you have a sofa with loose covers, you can turn and flip the cushions. The coated and artificial leather covers have a woven back so that they do not slide. These can therefore only be used in one way. The cushions contain HR foam and memory foam. The top of the cushions are slightly more convex and softer, and they taper slightly at the back. The inner cushions are non-slip. This belongs at the bottom of the cushion at the front.

The assembly instructions
The assembly instructions for the VIMLE sofas are not included with the base of the sofa, but you’ll find these with the covers.
