Does IKEA also have extension beds?
Our extendable bedframes and mattresses are very suitable for growing children. You can make the right combination and have a bed that will grow as your child grows. Very convenient!
Extendable bedframes
The extendable bedframes can be set with internal dimensions of a minimum of 130 cm to a maximum of 200 cm in length.
Mattresses for extendable beds
The mattresses for extendable bedframes have two parts of 35 cm and one part of 130cm. Each of these parts is 80 cm wide. A combination of these mattresses with one of our extendable beds, will create a bed that is 130, 165 or 200 cm long and 80 cm wide. The separate parts of the mattress can be attached to each other with Velcro.
