What is the minimum distance between my hob and extractor hood?

The minimum distance required for the IKEA hood to function properly can be found in the assembly instructions for your hood.

 The minimum distance differs per extractor hood and can also depend on the type of hob. 

Are you switching from gas to a ceramic hob or induction hob? Then the height of your extractor hood also needs to be changed for the best cooking experience.
