Can I expand my existing IKEA kitchen?

Do you have an existing METOD kitchen from 2014 or later? Our current METOD range has remained exactly the same in terms of dimensions, making it a breeze to expand or modify your kitchen!

However, keep in mind that for some specific adjustments, such as replacing kitchen cabinets, it may be necessary to remove your countertop and appliances.

FAKTUM kitchen
Our FAKTUM kitchen range was replaced by the current METOD kitchen system in 2014. The dimensions of both systems are different, making it impossible to replace FAKTUM kitchen cabinets with METOD kitchen cabinets.

However, it is possible to create a freestanding expansion of your kitchen with METOD kitchen cabinets, and of course, you can also replace your entire FAKTUM kitchen with a new METOD kitchen.
