What can I do to get my cabinet doors to connect?
In order for all parts of a cabinet to fit together, it is important to follow the assembly instructions exactly. Make sure the cabinet is level, both horizontally (floor) and vertically (up along the cabinet). Back walls, for example, must be mounted completely straight.
You can adjust furniture with a swivel foot to level it. If that doesn't work, a wedge can help to straighten the cabinet.
Once the cabinet is completely level and all parts fit together well, you can finally adjust the hinges in multiple directions. How to do this can be found in the assembly instructions for the cabinet or the hinges. These instructions are also available on the product pages of items on IKEA.nl, under the "product information" tab, then click on "assembly and documents."
