Creating a Waiting List

In this document you can read how and when to create a Waiting list in Sälja, and what minimum requirements there are to be able to use a Waiting list when ordering a kitchen.

What is a Waiting List?

If there are items that are not in stock, and you have proposed an alternative item, you can put the items on a Waiting list. For kitchens, the main delivery to the "Minimum installation requirements" must be met.

What do you tell the customer?

  • That you don't know when the items will be back in stock. When the items are in stock, a colleague will contact you to book the order and arrange a delivery time.
  • The customer pays for the items when the Waiting list has been converted into an order. (The price of the items and the service may change in the event of a price increase/price decrease).
  • For each new order, the customer pays the costs for the transport service or the B&O order. For kitchens, the customer does not pay any additional transport costs. See Backorders of designcheck keukens.
  • The customer cannot change or cancel the waiting list himself. The customer can contact us for this.
What does this look like in a Sälja order?
When you want to place the delivery of your order, check Sell Immediately the stock for you. It is possible that some items are not in stock, not even for a B&O order. In that case, you will see that the order must be split into a Waiting list.
When you confirm this, only the items that are in stock will remain in stock. Sell and you can continue placing the order.
After you have placed the order, you can place your draft order from the Waiting list under the heading Orders.
Open the order by clicking on the order number, choose Modify draft order and put the items back on the Waiting list.

Then press Continue twice.

Finally, click Create order. You now have a Waiting list for the customer and can email it to the customer.
📍PLEASE NOTE: When the items on the Waiting list are in stock, the specialists will handle this.
