What should I do when I am not happy with my IKEA kitchen?

It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with our products. If you are not, you can make a report to IKEA.

To determine whether your claim is within the scope of the IKEA Terms and Conditions, please read them before making your report. Please see the warranty brochure for METOD kitchens (Dutch) for more information on the warranty of your purchase. 

Warranty on FAKTUM kitchen 
Don't have a METOD kitchen, but another FAKTUM kitchen from IKEA? This kitchen system went out of range at IKEA in 2014 and was replaced by the current METOD kitchen system. 

Although the items in the kitchen system are no longer available, our service and warranty does not change! Depending on the purchase date of your kitchen, you are entitled to a 10 or 25 year warranty. 

  • 10-year warranty: FAKTUM kitchens and components purchased before 1 September 2007  
  • 25-year warranty: FAKTUM kitchens and replacement parts purchased from 1 September 2007 onwards

In order to assess your claim remotely, we need clear pictures of the problem and your proof of purchase. When you contact us, we will make sure you receive an email from IKEA that clearly states the information we need to help you further.
