What can I expect from IKEA kitchen assembly?

Do you want to buy a kitchen from IKEA and would you like help with the assembly? We would like to put you in touch with one of our installation partners. Before the assembly can be carried out, we first plan your dream kitchen with you and our assembly partner will visit you to prepare the assembly.

Kitchen installation by IKEA in a few steps
You can assemble your new kitchen yourself, but we are also happy to help you if you prefer to leave this to a professional. To ensure that your kitchen can be assembled, we will walk you through a number of steps:

  1. Design the kitchen
You create the design for your kitchen together with one of our kitchen specialists. You will receive a price quotation for the kitchen and also a price quotation for the assembly of your kitchen. Scheduling a kitchen plan appointment at IKEA is easy via our website.

  2. Planning the preparatory visit
Do you agree with both price offers? Then we will put you in touch with our installation partner, so that a preparatory visit can be scheduled.

During this preparatory visit, our installation partner checks whether the created design can also be placed. The space in front of your kitchen is measured, all piping is checked and you receive personal advice from the technician about the follow-up process. This way you are assured of a good end result.

  3. Planning the assembly
Our installation partner draws up a report of the preparation visit, of which you will also receive a copy. You can now make an appointment with the installation partner for the installation of your kitchen. Depending on your kitchen design, assembly can take place in approximately 4 - 8 weeks.

Do adjustments still need to be made in your kitchen, such as moving pipes or finishing walls or floors? Or would you like your old kitchen to be removed and disposed of? Then you can also have these activities carried out by our installation partner. Additional costs will be charged for this, of which you will receive a price quote from our installation partner.
  1. Ordering the kitchen
Is everything all right? Then it's time to order the kitchen! Our kitchen specialist will contact you one last time. Your kitchen will be ordered now and delivered to your home shortly before the planned installation date.
  1. The assembly
The assembly will be carried out on the scheduled date. Can't the kitchen be finished right away? Then the assembly partner will contact IKEA to ensure that your kitchen can be completed as soon as possible.

You make the payment for the kitchen and the kitchen assembly to IKEA. Do you have our assembly partner perform additional work to prepare for the assembly? Then you pay these costs directly to the assembly partner.

  2. The end result: your dream kitchen!
Your kitchen is now ready for use! Because we stand behind the craftsmanship of our assembly partners, you receive a 5-year warranty on the kitchen assembly carried out.
