Maintaining garden furniture
Over time, garden furniture faces sun, rain, and daily use, which can leave it faded or worn. But with a little care, you can protect it from the elements and keep it looking fresh season after season. Whether it’s sunny, rainy, or windy, protecting your furniture from weather damage with our protection range ensures it stays in top shape. Follow these simple steps to clean, maintain, and extend the life of your garden furniture. Let’s get started!

What else do you need?
- Wood treatment oil
Step 1. Clean your furniture
Grab a bucket with soap. Start by wiping down the furniture with soapy water and a cloth. This will remove any dirt, dust, or grime. After cleaning, rinse it well and allow the furniture to dry completely.
Step 2: Tighten any loose screws
Get your allen keys or, if necessary, a screwdriver and tighten any and all joints you see. Remember turning goes like this: 'righty tighty, lefty loosey'.
Step 3: Apply protective treatment
If you have wooden furniture, protect it from the elements by applying wood treatment oil (check out our guide of treating wooden surfaces). This oil will help keep the wood from weather damage and maintain its natural look. Let the oil dry completely before using the furniture again.
Step 4: Use protective covers
When your furniture isn’t in use, cover it with protective covers to shield it from rain, sun, and dirt. This simple step will extend the life of your garden furniture.
