Start planning your kitchen with IKEA Home Planner
Need help planning for your dream kitchen? We’re here to help you make your kitchen planning easier by teaching you some simple tips on how to use the IKEA Home planner, so let's get started.
1. File & Edit
File menu - create new or save your design. You can open up files, print or email your designs here.
Edit menu - options available are Undo, Re-do, Duplicate, Copy, Paste, Delete and Select all.
2. Room Layout
Select kitchen size, room shape, ceiling height and location of your doors and windows. You can also click to lock measurements so the measurements don't change.
3. Notes
You can take notes here and click the OK button to temporarily save them. This function lets you read your notes or add new information whenever you need. To save your notes permanently or print out your design, we recommend you to create a profile.

Plan your kitchen in 3D
We can help you visualise your dream kitchen while you plan. Try arranging all the furnitures in your kitchen space, then see what it looks like in floor view and 3D. You'll have your ideal and precise kitchen space.

Document and finish
4. Item list/Total price
You can check details of the purchased items, quantity and the total price.
5. Print & Export
You can print your design by loggin into your account.
6. Save
When you press the save button for the first time, you'll be asked to select a name for your design. Pressing the Save button will let you save your new design while replacing the old version. If you wish to keep the old file and save the new design separately, go to File, then Save as to save your design.
