IKEA Korea ranks top in 2H 2019 KS-SQI among home furnishing companies for second consecutive year

KS-SQI is a service quality evaluation model based on a customer satisfaction survey conducted on customers who have purchased or used the products and services of different companies. This is the second time for IKEA Korea to top the index, following its top ranking just last year. In 2017, IKEA Korea had also been ranked as the top company in the furniture category for KS-CQI (Korean Standard–Contact Service Quality Index).
With aims to provide a better shopping experience for the customers, IKEA Korea offers services for picking, delivery, assembly, home furnishing consulting, and kitchen planning. IKEA Korea also provides a convenient, generous return policy where customers can return their purchase within 365 days.
To enable more of the many people to experience IKEA’s unique home furnishing products and solutions in a multi-channel environment, IKEA Korea launched its e-commerce last year. Also since October 2019, IKEA Korea has been providing information on its website for its e-commerce customers across the country to order an assembly service via shared community platforms (SCP).
“We are honoured to have been recognised for the second year in a row as the home furnishing company with the best customer service satisfaction,” said IKEA Korea Country Retail Manager Fredrik Johansson. “We will continue our efforts to make IKEA even more accessible, convenient, and people and planet positive to better meet the needs of our customers in a fast-changing retail environment,” he added.
Under its vision to “create a better everyday life for the many people,” IKEA aims to offer a wide range of well-designed functional home furnishing products at prices so low that more of the many people are able to afford them. IKEA Korea is also working to expand accessibility and offer a more convenient customer experience with the upcoming opening of IKEA Giheung and DongBusan scheduled for December 2019 and first quarter of 2020, respectively, with plans to open its first city-centre touchpoint within next year as well.
