IKEA releases IKEA Catalogue 2019

IKEA has grown to a global home furnishing company from a small mail-order business
Launched in 1951, the IKEA catalogue is published every year as one of IKEA’s main IKEA marketing communication tool. This year IKEA celebrates its 75 anniversary, and the new IKEA catalogue will feature homes instead of individual rooms unlike the previous years. In addition, the new catalogue is primarily based on the ‘IKEA Life at Home Report,’ which is an in-depth study on people’s needs and dreams for their homes around the world to create a better everyday life for the many.
The new catalogue will feature stories of seven homes that are full of dreams, needs, challenges, and tensions. Regardless of the style, size, or lifestyle, the IKEA catalogue provides different home furnishing ideas, inspiration, and product recommendations that allow people to improve their homes.
Also, along with the release of a new catalogue each year, IKEA introduces a wide range of products at a ‘New Lower Price.’ Producing in high volumes with smarter designs and flat packaging, IKEA continues to make efforts to reach more customers with affordable products without having to compromise on quality. An array of popular products such as the KVISTBRO storage table (KRW 29,900), DUKTIG play kitchen (KRW 119,000), IKEA PS cabinet (KRW 52,900), and OUMBÄRLIG pot (KRW 39,900) will be included in this year’s ‘New Lower Price’ range. The prices of all the products that are featured in the catalogue will remain unchanged for one year.
Nicolas Johnsson, IKEA Korea Marketing Manager, said, “At IKEA we address challenges of real life and we want to make life at home better. The IKEA Catalogue 2019 is no different,” adding, “The new catalogue will continue to inspire the many people as our love for the home remains unchanged.”
A total of 190 million copies of 2019 IKEA catalogues will be printed with FSC™-certified paper for world-wide circulation. The catalogue will be available in 38 different languages in 55 countries, including Korea. The catalogue is available at IKEA Gwangmyeong and Goyang from August 30. The digital catalogue can also be found on the IKEA Korea website.
In celebration of the release of the new IKEA catalogue, IKEA Korea will host an event onIKEA Facebook Page from August 13, where 3,000 selected winners receive a printed copy of the 2019 IKEA catalogue.
IKEA Catalogue
One of our most important marketing tools for IKEA is the IKEA Catalogue since 1951. The catalogue attracts more people to visit the IKEA stores and the IKEA websites more often and stimulates their home furnishing interest, contributing to a strong IKEA brand position.
