IKEA Korea selected as one of Top 100 Companies for Job Creation

This is the 6th year for the Top 100 Companies for Job Creation to be announced, after being established in 2010. The list represents corporations that have contributed the most toward the creation of new jobs the past year, taking into account the size and type of the business.
IKEA Korea, which opened its first store in Gwangmyeong City last year (December 2014), has created over 900 new jobs in Korea and out those over 400 from Gwangmyeong city, contributing to job creation and balanced regional development. Also, the company has been recognized for creating jobs without discrimination against disadvantaged groups, hiring high school graduates and women.
