IKEA Korea launches ‘IKEA App’ for easier, convenient home furnishing shopping experience

[Seoul – December 22] Home furnishing retailer IKEA Korea will hold a ‘Winter Sale’ from December 24 to January 19 to enable the many Koreans to enjoy a safe and fun virtual home parties during the coming holiday period.

The new ‘IKEA App’ allows users to search, shop and buy IKEA products easily on their mobile devices, while browsing through the gallery for home furnishing ideas and inspiration for various spaces such as bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and home offices.

‘IKEA App’ users can select up to 10 products to make their own wishlist to share with other users, and products contained in the online carts and wishlist can also be purchased through the IKEA Korea official online store or by calling the IKEA Customer Support Center (1670-4532). Additionally, users can easily check the stock availability product location information at each store in real time. IKEA Family member information is also stored in the app, so users can conveniently enjoy the exclusive benefits for IKEA Family members.

User-optimised interior photos and home furnishing tips are also offered through the new app’s ‘Inspirational Feed’, enabling users to become inspired by more personalized recommendations. Users can click on the images to explore more information about the products and useful tips.

‘IKEA App’ is available for both mobile and tablet devices, compatible with Android OS 5.0 or iOS 10.0 or higher, and can be downloaded for free via Google Play or AppStore.
