IKEA Korea to hold the ‘Chuseok with IKEA’ promotion

[Seoul – September 13] Home furnishing retailer IKEA Korea will hold the ‘Chuseok with IKEA’ promotion to celebrate Chuseok, a lunar harvest holiday in Korea, offering 20% discounts on select home furnishing products from September 16 to September 28 at all IKEA stores in Korea (IKEA Gwangmyeong, Goyang, Giheung and DongBusan), IKEA Korea online store, IKEA Planning Studio, and IKEA Lab.   

The event is designed to make the home a more functional and happier space amid the increasing number of people spending the Chuseok holiday with family at home due to the non-face-to-face holiday trend. To help celebrate plentiful Chuseok at home IKEA Korea will offer various home furnishings for the living room, bedroom, and kitchen at a 20% discount to IKEA Family members.  

The promotion will feature ▲FRIHETEN corner sofa-bed with storage, which can be converted into a bed and has a spacious built-in storage; ▲EKEDALEN table + chair set, which has an extendable table to make better use of a space; ▲FJÄLLARNIKA duvet, with box stitching and a the fluffy down/feather filling; ▲OUMBÄRLIG cookware set, composed of pans and pots in different sizes which works well on all types of hobs.  

During the promotion period, IKEA Korea stores will also be holding various events for visitors. The events will include a wish card event that presents IKEA gift cards through a lottery, a quiz event via QR codes, a photo zone event. IKEA Swedish Food Market also sells a limited edition of a Chuseok holiday gift set consisting of SMAKRIK organic oil series.
