IKEA Korea holds an appreciation event for the Lunar New Year

[Seoul – January 19] Home furnishing retailer IKEA Korea will hold the “Begin Lunar New Year with Home Furnishing, Celebrate Lunar New Year with IKEA Gift Card!” event to express appreciation with the IKEA Gift Card from January 24 to January 31 in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

The event is for customers who wish to express their gratitude to their loved ones, such as family, relatives, and friends with the message of “Tack,” which means “Thank you” in Swedish. As the non-face-to-face holiday trend is spreading due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, IKEA Korea presents additional benefits to the IKEA Gift Card for the many who are planning to make their homes more meaningful.

IKEA Korea offers an additional Tack Card depending on the purchase amount of the IKEA Gift Card. Additional Tack Cards of KRW 10,000, KRW 20,000, and KRW 30,000 will be rewarded to customers who purchase IKEA Gift Cards worth more than KRW 100,000, KRW 200,000, and KRW 300,000, respectively. The Tack Card will be issued per day up to KRW 30,000 for the purchase on the same day. 

IKEA Gift Card can be purchased at official online store, all IKEA Korea stores (Gwangmyeong, Goyang, Giheung, DongBusan) and Planning Studios (Cheonho, Sindorim). Customers can also purchase IKEA Digital Gift Card at the official online store and the card can be used like cash when purchasing IKEA products at all IKEA Korea offline stores.

Additionally, events will be prepared for customers who visit IKEA stores during the Lunar New Year holiday. Various events arranged by each store will be held including a wish card event that presents gifts through a lottery, a photo zone event that provides gifts to selected customers who post pictures and hashtags on social media, and a quiz event via QR codes for the IKEA Family members.
