Unsatisfactory straps/handlesRalphThe bags are large, well made and straps/handles capable of holding a heavy load. However, the photo of the length is very deceiving because they are not that long. I can hardly get them onto my shoulder when I have my shopping in them. I main reason I purchased them was because I hate plastic bags for my shopping and these are easy to wash. The shoulder strap is the biggest problem for me so I don't recommend.
Perfect alternative for plastic shopping bagsKristienI have replaced all my plastic shopping bags with these ones. Much more convenient to clean them by machine washing. In this way much more hygienic then the plastic bags
