absolute disappointmentPatrycjabasically complementary product for pax wardrobe does not complement it anymore. after years of being a perfect add-on for the top shelves of the open closet, now thanks to shrinkflation, creates a wasted space when used as intended. i updated my closet and needed extra skubb; now i have old ones that are fitting like gloves and new ones that have massive empty spaces on the sides and at the front. you can see the difference on the picture. it makes me absolutely disappointed as a former ikea coworker that believed in ikea’s values and the focus on a clever design that solves problems of small spaces and uses every bit of space with intention.

Smaller than the SKUBB boxes used to beJulia EstherI have had two SKUBB under-the-bed storage boxes for seven years. They were sturdy, lightweight, well made, and ample enough to hold all of my out-of-season clothes and shoes. They cannot, however, be washed, so I decided to replace them. When I ordered two new ones, I didn't realize IKEA had skimped on the size, cutting off 4cm in length and 5cm in width. It is surprising that such a small difference in size should make the new boxes too small to hold the same amount of clothing. I had to keep one of my old boxes, because the new ones are just not adequate. Even with less contents, the zippers on the new ones have to strain a bit to close. This is a big disappointment over a reduction that seems totally unnecessary. I will say the quality of the fabric, zippers, and frame seems to be the same as that of the old ones. If you don't have a lot to store, these boxes should be fine. I will not buy them again, as they are inadequate for my needs.
