From coconut to rugged doormat
Coir is the magic found in a coconut’s husk! These tough, water-resistant fibres come from the outer layer of the coconut shell. With their rugged texture, coir fibres are perfect for mats that see plenty of foot traffic. Woven in a pile construction, it takes about 7 coconut shells to make a single 40x60 cm coir door mat. Who knew coconuts could roll out such a warm welcome?
