Worst pan GalinaVery bad pan. I used it few times and it burnt 1
Nice, expensive and so bad.MarkAfter a few use everything stick down in it. No matter how much oil you use. We used it carefully. Washed every time with hands.1
Poor quality EmilyUnfortunately this frying pan looks good, but that is all. Does not heat properly on an electric hob, oil falls to the sides of the pan and have to keep heat on highest setting and still does not cook properly. Very disappointed in this product. Have bought other Ikea pans before but not this range and I will not buy another in this range.1

What is sol-gel ceramic non-stick coating?

Sol-gel non-stick is often called ceramic coating and is an increasingly common replacement for other non-stick coatings in frying pans. It comprises mostly of silica and is created by applying a gel-like solution to the product and drying it in an oven. The result is a hard, glossy surface with non-stick properties. Sol-gel can be produced in different colours, it withstands high heat, is easy to use and clean – and allows cooking with little or no fat.
