Reviews

Bestå is nice, glass shelves installation problematicAnonymous reviewerAssembly of the cupboard went smoothly. The cupboard is nice. A design flaw is that you cannot install the glass shelves with the doors already installed. The doors do not open wide enough for the glass to pass, so you need to remove the door, or at least unscrew one hinge. It should at least be noted in the assembly instructions if the cupboard, and also in the notes for the shelves. (Glass shelves can only be inserted by sliding them into the brackets, while keeping the glass horizontal.) Complaint no. 2: why do you make stickers where the glue is far stronger than the paper? The glue remains on the glass, with a layer of paper, that is a mess.5
BestaDavidThe back panel could be stronger to help maintain 4 x 90 degrees.4

Material

What is glass?

Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
