How to dress up a bed stylishly
Apart from being the place where we spend 25 years of our life sleeping, or so they say, the bed is definitely the main protagonist of our bedroom. So knowing how to dress a bed is quite important.
Knowing how to choose bed linen should be a decision not only based on style or design. You also have to consider the temperature of your bedroom and your own temperature. Blankets, quilts and cushions are extremely important when dressing a double bed or a bed with a duvet cover. The colours, whether plain or patterned, also affect our rest.
How to create a dream bed
We've all seen beds with sheets, quilts, pillows... all set up stylishly. Let's start with what we always like most: the cushions!
1. Cushions for everyone
What's a bed without some cushions placed on top of the pillow? Nothing. So this is the first of our tips on how to make a bed. Group cushions together by size, from largest to smallest, with the largest always resting against the headboard of the bed. Cushions or pillows will also help us change up our bedroom without needing to spend a lot of money. They'll also help us change our room and bed for the season.
2- Dress up a bed with colours that convey serenity
If you want to know how to dress a double bed that conveys serenity, peace and quiet, we recommend that you use neutral, white and natural colours. But be careful, because you can go overboard and create a style that's too cold. That's why we recommend using warm-toned elements such as natural fibres, textured rugs... something that breaks the cool white.
3- Use colours to dress your bed
You can stop using sheets and pillow covers in colours like white and give some colour to your bed with patterned and coloured duvet covers. So as not to overload your bed, we recommend that you use no more than four different prints when you dress your bed.
Or if you want to experiment, you can also opt for a white and black contrast with geometric prints.
4- Dress a bed so that it coordinates with your bedroom accessories
One thing that always works is the combination of curtains or blankets and bed linen. For example, blue tones combine very well with the bed linen, curtains and blanket at the foot of the bed.

Another very helpful touch is the little blanket at the foot of the bed. This can be the icing on the cake that your bed needs.
