Fake promotions

We would like to inform you that fraudulent activity and promotions that use our brand despite not being managed by IKEA are regularly circulating on apps, social networks and via email.

These are scams, mostly designed to gather as much personal data as possible, so we urge you not to engage with these activities and, very importantly, not to share them with your contacts. We recommend that you never share personal or confidential information, such as bank details requested by electronic means or over the phone, with anyone. Also avoid opening email attachments if you're not sure about the sender.

IKEA does not make calls offering free mattress cleaning services, nor do we share our customers' data with external companies for this purpose.

IKEA Ibérica recommends that customers who wish to report fraudulent activities by electronic means do so via the form on the INCIBE website https://www.incibe-cert.es/notificaciones. You can also contact IKEA Customer Services by sending us the original link or a screenshot of the competition or offer page and, if possible, the email that you initially received. CSC contact form.
On the INCIBE website, you can find guides to help you shop online securely, as well as a telephone number that you can call on +34 017 for more information on cybersecurity incidents.

How can you tell if an email, text message or message is fraudulent?

Fraudulent messages often invite you to take part in a prize draw or announce straightaway that you've won a EUR 500 voucher, for example.
These messages contain spelling errors and use unusual vocabulary.
The website address for these messages does not start with http://www.IKEA.com.
Beware of emails with worrying subject lines such as "Your account is locked" or "There has been an unauthorised sign-in attempt". Most of the time these are fake.
