Cyber monday 2019 promotion terms and conditions
Promotion
The purpose of this promotion is to reward the first seven thousand (7000) purchases exceeding two hundred euro (EUR 200.00) made online via the IKEA website (www.IKEA.com/es/en/) on 2 December 2019, otherwise known as Cyber Monday.
Duration
This promotion will take place over a set period between 12am and 11:59pm on 2 December 2019.
Geographical scope
The outlined promotion will be rolled out across all IKEA stores and establishments in Spain, excluding stores located in the Canary Islands and Balearic Islands.
Reward
The first 7000 online purchases made via the IKEA website (www.IKEA.com/es/en/) will receive a prize of a thirty-euro (EUR 30.00) gift card, valid up to and including 31 January 2019, redeemable in all IKEA stores in Spain, excluding the Canary Islands and Balearic Islands.
How it works
Participants can enter the promotion by making an online purchase via the IKEA website within the allotted time period, provided that the total purchase amount exceeds two hundred euro (EUR 200.00). In order to calculate this amount, costs for contracted services are included.
Purchases will automatically be recorded in the IKEA system, collecting the contact email address from the individual making the purchase.
Once the promotional period has ended, the IKEA Ecommerce department will consult the list of orders that meet the conditions of the promotion and will select the first seven thousand (7000) qualifying orders, which will receive the reward as per these legal conditions.
Once selected, the winners will receive an email with their respective gift card number via the same email address that they used to make their purchase, all within 48 hours following the promotion's conclusion.
The gift cards are valid for one use only and may not be used to contract services, redeemed for cash or sold or traded between individuals. Furthermore, the gift cards are not nominative; IKEA is therefore not responsible in the event of theft or loss.
The winners will be able to use their gifts card until 31 January 2020, after which they will no longer be valid.
Amendments to these conditions
IKEA reserves the right to amend or add further appendices to the practical arrangements and prizes of this promotion, provided that they are justified, do not place participants at a disadvantage and are duly communicated to said participants. In the event that circumstances that may be described as unforeseeable, cases of force majeure or any similarly serious situations should occur, IKEA may cancel the promotion, ensuring that all participants are informed.
Fraudulent entries
IKEA reserves the right to justifiably eliminate any user who defrauds, alters or hinders the proper functioning and normal and regulatory course of this promotion.
IKEA also reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion in the event that a high number of entries that are fraudulent or in violation of the existing conditions are recorded.
Under no circumstances may multiple entries by the same person be included on the list of winners, regardless of whether any or all of them exceed the minimum amount established under the eligibility conditions. Each participant may only enter the promotion once.
Any attempt at betting or using similar methods is prohibited. No automatic, scheduled, robotic or similar purchase will be permitted.
IKEA will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the competition's advertising.
Data protection
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter "GDPR"), IKEA informs participants of the following points concerning the processing of personal data.

Personal data provided to IKEA by the participant will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting this promotion and in compliance with the obligations regarding the Spanish Treasury Department or any other type of public administration.
The legal terms and conditions for processing the participants' personal data are determined by the promotion's own regulatory terms and conditions.
The participants' personal data will only be processed for as long as required for the purposes described in the previous section.
Once the promotion has ended and these purposes have been fulfilled and, where appropriate, the timeframes set by the existing legislation have elapsed, any personal data will be destroyed by means of a secure procedure, in accordance with the current regulations.
Participants may exercise their rights to access, modify, delete and transfer their data, as well their rights to limit and object to the processing of their personal data by sending an email to [email protected].

Return Conditions
IKEA explicitly states that, in the event that the purchase that makes the participants eligible to win, in accordance with the terms of this promotion, is partially or fully returned, the total amount of the refund will be limited solely and exclusively to the amount paid for the price of the goods and services purchased.
IKEA will not allow gift cards to be returned or exchanged for cash or any other item.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
This promotion is governed by the current legislation in Spain.
The participants agree to submit any disputes that may arise in relation to the interpretation or application of these conditions, as well as to the promotion's implementation, to the courts and tribunals of the capital city of Madrid, expressly excluding any other courts that may be applicable.
