What is the difference between the TRÅDFRI gateway and DIRIGERA hub?
DIRIGERA hub comes with a new and improved app as well as new digital features such as Control Anywhere which allows you to connect to your smart home from anywhere in the world. It also has an increased memory capacity, so you'll be able to connect more smart products than before for a quicker and better experience. With DIRIGERA hub, you have everything you need for the smart products of tomorrow.

Since your smart home set-up with TRÅDFRI gateway is stored locally only, and since the app connected to DIRIGERA hub comes with new digital features, you will need to re-create scenes after pairing your smart products.
