What does lumen mean?
The unit lumen (lm) measures the luminous flux and thus the brightness of a lamp or light source.
Compared to conventional light bulbs, LED lamps consume much less energy. You can therefore select them according to their luminous flux - i.e. LUMEN - rather than their energy consumption (watts).
