At "Make space for…", IKEA Switzerland teams up with award-winning Dutch design studio Raw Color to turn simple boxes into an immersive exploration of space. Known for translating research on color into bold, tactile installations, Raw Color has co-created with IKEA Switzerland a vibrant landscape of boxes that leads you through your own everyday needs. As you move through the space, a simple question guides you: what do I want to make space for right now? Less stress. Less mess. More time. More calm. Or something else entirely – whatever feels right for you.
Life keeps moving new homes, new jobs, new adventures, growing families. With every change, our spaces – and the things we keep – need to adapt. Boxes become quiet companions in these transitions, carrying not only our belongings but also memories and future plans. At "Make space for…", this humble box turns into a design tool and a symbol of change: stacked, strapped and coloured, it shows how smart, simple storage can bring more clarity and flexibility into everyday life.
