Nice but uselessAlexThe tea infuser is poorly designed or conceived, since the distance between the perforated receptacle where the tea is loaded and the edge of the cup is minimal, hence the infuser does not get to be properly submerged; then you have to be making strange immersion movements so that all the tea strands come into contact with the hot water and therefore the infusion hardly occurs. It's a shame as the appearance is nice and the quality of the steel is good, but it doesn't work for what it was made for.1
tea strainerNADINEAnyone that comes for tea loves these convenient tea strainers. I have bought many and will be giving them as gifts at Christmas. They are better than the ball kind because they sit perfectly on the lip of the mug and are easily removed when tea is brewed.5

What is stainless steel?

Stainless steel is found in everything from building structures and cars to sinks and knives. It’s easy to see why it has so many uses. Stainless steel is hard and durable and has good resistance to corrosion – namely rust. It generally has a low nickel content, and for IKEA products we mainly use stainless steel that’s nickel-free. Like many other metals, it can be recycled again and again to become new, hardwearing things – without losing its valuable properties.
