Product details

If you’re a frequent user of alkaline batteries, over time you can save money, reduce waste and lower your impact on the environment by switching to LADDA rechargeable batteries.

LADDA rechargeable batteries work in all kinds of products, from a sustainability perspective they are best in products with high energy consumption, like portable speakers, toys, torches or cameras.

Rechargeable batteries can be used repeatedly. Alkaline batteries are non-rechargeable disposable batteries, which need to be discarded after being discharged.

By using rechargeable batteries, you’ll always have ready-to-use batteries at home and rarely have to buy new ones.

LADDA rechargeable batteries come pre-charged when you buy them and you can charge them up to 1000 times.

The battery is ready to use.

  • For rechargeable batteries, only use the intended charger.

Remove batteries from the charger when fully charged.

Observe the polarity marks plus (+) and minus (−) and ensure correct battery insertion into charger or product.

Only use batteries that are intended for the product. Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types.

Batteries should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.

You can choose to charge LADDA batteries with chargers like STENKOL or TJUGO.

Special waste handling may be required. Please contact your local authorities for more information.

Ratings and reviews

reliable rechargable batteriesDEREKI've always gone to IKEA to get rechargable batteries. I find the price and quality acceptable.5
Good chargeable batteries at a good priceKenI have many sets of these at home and they have been great in the years that I've had them. If you have anything that uses AA or AAA's then it makes no sense to use regular alkaline batteries. Otherwise you're just throwing your money in the garbage.5

We like these rechargeable batteriesAliWhen you have a kid you tend to go through a lot of batteries. Rechargeable batteries seem less costly and annoying than disposable ones. These do as we expect them to do.4
It is step back from the previous product versionOXANA P.Ikea used to sell Ladda 900 AAA batterise but now they only sell these 750 ones4
Sorry I didn’t buy these years ago considering the good reviews I kept reading!SANDRA G.Sorry I didn’t buy these years ago considering the good reviews I kept reading! What a life saver these rechargeables are! I regularly use them for many products around the house. Bought several pairs of these stronger powered AA’s (don’t bother with the lower grade ones) and several of the AAA’s (only one level of power offered). I also purchased two chargers- the basic chargers as the other types don’t get great reviews. Btw, the charging time is fast and batteries last a decent amount of time. I use most of the batteries DAILY in six hour timers. No complaints here! I am incredibly happy I finally took the plunge and purchased these items. No more waiting for expensive Engergizers to go on sale in stores! lol5

Great alternative to Eneloop batteriesAUSTINThese are great rechargable batteries, interchangeable with industry standard Eneloop brand batteries, but better value.5
Slight letdown that the 900mAh AAA cells are no longer available in Canada, but still decent, depending on your use caseMark W.As others have pointed out, the LADDA AAAs used to be 900mAh (which were likely rebranded Sanyo Eneloop Pro cells, rated at ~500 recharge cycles). The 'new' 750mAh cells are rebranded Sanyo Eneloop (non-Pro) cells, which have a tradeoff of higher recharge cycles (~2000) and lower self-discharge rate (which is better for storage), versus slightly lower capacity. These 750mAh cells are better in low-drain devices that you don't want to have to constantly swap batteries all the time (remotes, thermostats, etc), and for emergency use where you leave them sitting in a drawer fully charged until you need them. The same rings true for LADDA 1900/2450mAh AA cells; the lower capacity version are regular Sanyo Eneloops with lower self-discharge rate and higher rated charge cycles, while the higher capacity cells are rebranded Sanyo Eneloop Pro cells, with a higher self-discharge rate and rated for fewer charge cycles, but have higher capacity for high-drain devices (flashlights, speakers, etc)5
