A bit confusing about the assembly instruction diagram. Also bit difficult to screw the T-metal.KongThe screw that connect the middle base wood and the T-shape metal is quick difficult to screw in using a manual screw-driver (as I don't have those electrical powered one). Eventually, I find somewhat like a T-shape screw-driver, it works.4
So squeaky!VarvaraA simple enough assemble, but oh so squeaky! Can't turn on another side without making a noise :(3
the bed creaks terriblyNuneThat is awful🙄, I waited more than 6months for leaving a review, as I thought maybe the wood needs time. No! 2
WeightLisaWhat is the weight limit ?5
Not a complete bed2ScottPer other review. The wbebsite should change its wording nomenclature "Complete" sounded like it was complrte with the slats not to complete the bed get the slats. Should say Required.2
Fine bed but slight manufacturing defect in oursRobBought this for some visitors during the summer. One of the long sides was not assembled correctly at the factory so we could not get the bolt in. Of course we had guests arriving so there was not time to exchange it so i just put in a 2" deck screw instead of the bolt and called it done. Not what i expected from Ikea. I am sure they would have happily replaced it if we had had time to go through the process.
Other than that, it serves it's purpose.3
Not ImpressedAlanHad the old design of this bed which was much sturdy than this. Over-complicated and fit and finish is not good. Bring back the old design,1
Great bedRachelWas quite easy to assemble!4
Very good bed frame ManarIt’s simple to setup and very basic and good price. I do recommend if you want something simple and don’t cast you a lot of money. 5
Excellent for the priceRobertSturdy and economical, plus one can paint or stain if you wish.5

Very easy DIYVincentA very good product. Perfect for a kids room. I bought 2 as extra beds in my basement. Very helpful. I recommend.5
Not a complete bed!ChristineMy mom's house got flooded so I was looking for an inexpensive bed frame for a temporary emergency. I grab this because of the low price but after building the unit, I realized I also needed to buy the slatted bed base separately!
How are people suppose to know this when they are at the warehouse? There should be sign when people are going to pick up this box to notify people to also grab the $30 slatted bed base. 1
Neiden Twin BedLisaWe are in the midst of assembling and were disappointed to find such poor instructions included with this product. We have purchased many ikea items in the past requiring assembling with no difficulty at all. The pieces are usually always lettered or numbered yet this bed had nothing. It appears to be solid - for as far along as we have reached in assembly process.4
KidsAnonymous reviewerGood for kids room . Not suitable for teens or older 4
Wonderful LaythIIt is easy to install and good to bare high weight 5
Neiden bed frameMichelleThis is a great affordable, minimalist bed frame! However, it gets a little tricky putting the screws into the corner and needs 2 people to do that - maybe it could be made in an easier one-person way? 4
Great Bed!LisaGreat bed! Sturdy and beautiful. 5

Great value bed, but be ready with extra tools for assembly!Anonymous reviewerAs a student, this bed has been a practical upgrade from my airbed. Its simple design fits well in my small space, though I was surprised by how low to the ground it sits. Assembly, however, came with some challenges right from the start. You'll definitely need a hammer to secure the dowels in place; without one, it's difficult to proceed with construction at all. Things went smoothly until I reached the middle bar. At that point, it became nearly impossible to fit it without an offset screwdriver (preferably a ratcheting one) or a power drill, as you need enough torque to get the screws in properly. I ended up purchasing an offset ratcheting screwdriver to finish the job. IKEA should really recommend both a hammer and an offset ratcheting screwdriver in the suggested tools list, which would save a lot of hassle during assembly. Additionally, expect some creaking since the slats aren't fully fitted, which may cause some noise over time. 3
