This simple medium-firm foam mattress is 12 cm high. Resilient foam is combined with a soft layer of wadding in the washable quilted cover.

The cover is soft to the touch and a has layer of wadding to add cushioning.
The cover is removable and can be machine washed. Divide the cover to make it easier to fit in the washing machine.

All of our mattresses can be used immediately, but keep in mind that a packaged mattress only regains its full shape and comfort after approximately 72 hours. Your body also needs a couple of weeks to adapt to the new mattress.
Sometimes the mattress has a noticeable smell when you open the packaging. The smell isn’t harmful or toxic and disappears over time. Airing and vacuuming the mattress helps to eliminate the smell faster.

Cover is too small for mattressMariaAfter reading the reviews and seeing the measurements, I got this mattress as a topper for another mattress.
Overall it is comfy - but when I opened the cover to rid of the factory smell - I doscovered the cover was smaller than the sponge inside, so closing the cover now is like stuffing a sausedge.
And I didn't even wash it! I can only imagine how fun it's going to be stuffing the poor sponge into a washed and dried mattress cover.
They also don't sell sepatare replacement mattres scovers so that goes against the entire point of IKEA.
I would suggest IKEA to look into their manufactories and let them know they don't have to save so much on fabric since the mattress is still sold for a fairly high price for it's value.
If I replace the small cover with a custom purchased mattress cover - warranty is not covering damages anymore.
IKEA used to be lovely, but not anymore I guess.

Not very comfortable LisaRead all these reviews of its comfort but honestly its not. You can feel coils through it, and it doesn't offer a good sleep. I can't add a foam topper as it would be too thick and it would need that so will return and replace with a gel foam matteess.

Thins out after a year of useRahuskanthI bought this more than a year ago for my kid and a couple of months back my kid started hating to use it. I am using it now to realize my neck and back hurts after every night of sleep. The mattress has become too thin to support and I'm looking to replace.

Highly questionable quality of the bed coverAlthaf HussainI buy Ikea for all my furniture needs and I like coming back for the product and customer service. This one product however, has disappointed both in quality and the after sale support. On just the second wash of the bed cover ( following the instructions ) it tore at the bottom end and when I claimed warranty it was rejected twice stating it is incidental damage. I have sought an explanation on how else should I have washed it if not following the instructions and yet to hear back.

Good Mattress For BudgetRyanI was in need of a new mattress, I purchased this one as the one I originally wanted was out of stock at the store. It came in a rolled up tight seal package. It was heavy but fit in my SUV. It took a couple of days to rid the smell of new mattress. It is comfortable and support is good. I prefer a mattress with coils as it's better support. But this fit in my budget.
ThinDanielleI thought this mattress would have a bit more to it. Near the sides of my son’s bed it really sinks so I can feel the edge of his bed if I lay too close to the side. It doesn’t have a very welcoming feel although I think it’ll be ok for my son since he’s so light but I wouldn’t buy for an adult
