How can you even trust this bed to be safe for your kids if you can’t even assemble the bed in the first place due to manufacturing defects/ poor quality control??? I now have to haul these pieces back to ikea hoping I can exchange/ refund.

Not easy to assembleMdSome parts of the bed ( the rail and bottom rods) are not easy to assemble. One hole of the side rail was smaller than the rod. The hole for one of the two bottom rods was not in correct place, I had to manually create a hole and then could screw the rod.
Poor quality and noisyOlgaThe bed makes lots of noise and isn't comfortable to sleep on. My years old denied sleeping on it saying it's creepy. Also if kids would jump on it few times it will break completely. It's a tempting price but you'll end up buying a new bed in no time.

Great size, no sheets that fit in any store ever thoughKatelynWe bought this for our toddler a couple years ago and while we are quite happy with its size and durability, we've been a little sad that not a single set of ikea bed linens (other than a plain white len fitted sheet) was designed to fit on this size of bed. Even other big box stores don't seem to carry the 70x160cm size so our dude has been stuck with plain white sheets and oddball blankets until he's ready for a bigger bed. More options for sheets and blankets would be a great way to make this product more worth the purchase.

WARNING bed base not includedAnonymous reviewerI bought this in store when I happened to be in a large city, and when I got back to my town and opened it all up, there was no slatted bed base. The website claims this is included in the price, and another review of this product claims the base is included in the boxes, but be very careful as the in-store product with the SAME NAME does not include the bed base. If you go in person, be prepared to buy the slatted bed base separately, which is more $$ and will be a third package. I can't speak to the value of the product, because it is a useless pile of wood at the moment.

Works greatAnonymous reviewerWe've had this bed for a yr and still happy. We did trim it down to fit our crib mattress so we didnt have to buy a new mattress which was really easy to do. Our DD is 4 now and the bed is holding up great. Only issue is the railing wasnt high enough to hold her in. We flipped that side to the wall and put on a bigger railing but she moves TONS in her sleep so we knew we'd need a bigger railing going on. I've cuddled up with her lots of times and the bed has held our weight (I'm a good 170 lbs).
