Beware of sizeMimiI really like the look and colour of the bed, which is the main reason why I bought it. The assembly was a bit painful, the illustrations in the assembly instructions (especially for the middle railing) were not very clear. My biggest beef however has to do with the size of the bed frame: note carefully that it is 38.25”W x 74.375”W, when purchasing your mattress. As I found out to my detriment, many mattresses are slightly longer and wider than the dimensions of this bed frame, which means your mattress will not sit properly on this bed. I wish IKEA would just make this just slightly bigger (39x75 would be nice) so it can fit all twin mattresses3

The "walls" help my little son stay snug in bed all night!JoyMy little 4 year old son picked out this bed frame as his big boy bed because it had "walls" as he calls them. He was worried about falling out of a big boy bed at night, but this bed frame keeps him safe all night! With placing this bed frame against one wall and building the L-shaped headboard on the opposite side of the wall, my son has a soft blue headboard "wall" that keeps him snug and safely in his bed all night long. He loves it very much! It was fairly easy to put together as the instructions were clear and well-written. It took about 45 minutes to put together from unboxing until completion. Well worth it! Thank you, Ikea! 5

You can feel the metal framing in the two boards. Also the material used to cover the boards is a cheap quality.3

Cute bed!MiaBought two for a guest room and am overall happy wi the the beds. I would give this product a 5 star except that it has a couple of small design flaws. Where the two blue pieces connect in the corner there is just a screw. That’s all. That’s how the two pieces connect and it is pretty flimsy especially if your bed is not up against a corner. At first I thought the material had a flaw but later realized that the opening in the material is intentional to allow the one screw. Also a few pieces that keep the slats from shifting around are plastic and will probably break in the near future. Come on Ikea! I don’t want a disposable bed! Please replace them with metal in the future.4
