Ikeas not what it used to be!DebbieIkea used to be "some assembly required" where now you're doing all the assembly. The slats don't come with this bed. I thought I would use the slats from the twin stacking beds I purchased previously only to find they are too small for this twin bed? I didn't realize twin beds were different sizes at Ikea. Also, the slats from the stacking beds attach with 8 screws. The slats from this bed attach with 4 pegs? Why has quality decreased? These are children's beds.
The wooden slats slip out of place and fall off the supporting rails.DylanI have never slept on such a terrible bed frame. The wood itself seems to be good quality and probably won’t break easily, but the design is awful. The wooden slats constantly slip out of place and fall off the supporting rails underneath the mattress. Almost every time I turn over in bed, there is a good chance that one of the slats will drop down. Then I have to get out of bed, lift the mattress, pull the slat back up, and put it into position again.
Because this happens so often, the slats keep rubbing against the wooden frame, creating a lot of wood dust and small wood shavings underneath the bed. It is also very annoying and difficult to clean.
The frame also doesn’t feel stable at all and makes loud squeaking and creaking noises whenever I move or turn over in bed.
I definitely do not recommend buying this bed frame. It is extremely frustrating and inconvenient to use.

I would definitely buy this product again if I need one. And I highly recommend it to anyone in the need of an affordable bed.

Frustrating Design and Incomplete Product DescriptionHongmingI recently purchased this bed frame and paid a $29 delivery fee, only to discover after assembly that it cannot be used as-is. It requires a slatted bed base, which is sold separately. This crucial piece of information should be made much more prominent. Because it wasn't, I now have to drive to the physical store to buy the missing base, completely wasting both my time and the delivery fee. This is a very frustrating customer experience and a poor product design.

A bit confusing about the assembly instruction diagram. Also bit difficult to screw the T-metal.KongThe screw that connect the middle base wood and the T-shape metal is quick difficult to screw in using a manual screw-driver (as I don't have those electrical powered one). Eventually, I find somewhat like a T-shape screw-driver, it works.

Fine bed but slight manufacturing defect in oursRobBought this for some visitors during the summer. One of the long sides was not assembled correctly at the factory so we could not get the bolt in. Of course we had guests arriving so there was not time to exchange it so i just put in a 2" deck screw instead of the bolt and called it done. Not what i expected from Ikea. I am sure they would have happily replaced it if we had had time to go through the process.
Other than that, it serves it's purpose.
