Product details

The curtains darkens the room and provide privacy by preventing people outside from seeing into the room.

Effective at keeping out both drafts in the winter and heat in the summer.

The fabric in recycled polyester is easy-care and retains its colours ‒ wash after wash.

Curtains with heading tape allow you to hang the curtain directly on the curtain rod using the rod pocket or tabs. You can also hang the curtain onto a track rail using gliders and hooks.

Using gliders and hooks usually creates a more formal and dressed-up feel, where hardware is not visible.

    The curtains are sold in pairs. The sizes stated refer to each single curtain. For the total width, double the width of a single curtain.

    Since the fabric will shrink when washing it is a good idea to wash the curtains prior to cutting/hemming.

    Use SY iron-on hemming strip to shorten the curtains without sewing.

    16 gliders and hooks are usually recommended for each curtain with a width of 145 cm. You can increase or decrease the number depending on whether you want narrower or fuller folds in the pleats.

Beauty and function combinedAlisonWe bought these for a south-facing bedroom to keep the heat and intense sunlight out, and they do the job beautifully. The weight of the fabric drapes nicely, and the dark green pattern adds calm and elegance to the room. Very impressed with the quality of the fabric too and the width of window they cover. I like that they are designed with options for different types of curtain hangers such as tracks of poles (note: if you need hooks, these are not included). We were able to thread the curtains onto the window pole easily. Easy-to-follow instructions are included too for the various types of curtain hangers. I would buy again. 5

As advertised. Overall a good valueLeslieRoom Darkening, as advertised. The room is now black at night and dim during the day. If total blackout drapes are required for sleeping during the day, these might not be the answer. My sleep has improved immensely with the amount of room-darkening these drapes provide at night. Not too difficult to install with the VIDGA track system. The installation instructions may be difficult to interpret for many people. Tools not provided. The attractive grey tones and tartan pattern compliment a variety of decors. Product was delivered within the week, though the delivery fee was exceptionally high for such a small package (~$100) and rather unnecessary considering there are many shipping options IKEA could take advantage of that would reduce the cost to the purchaser. If I could wish for anything more from these drapes is that they appeared more uniform in the folds. Some 'waves' of the fabric are smaller than others despite even placement of the hanging hardware.4
Pretty goodMichelleThey are very nice, but the plaids don't match. I am hanging them on 2 windows a few feet apart so it's not evident. I could see light through the fabric, so I bought lining fabric and stitched it along the top and sides. They also needed a fair amount of ironing as the hems were very crushed. They do have a classic look that coordinate well with the Karrdunort duvet cover and shams.4

I have several pairs of Ikea curtains in my home, and they are such good quality. The fabric is thick not cheap and thin, the colors are superb, and they hang beautifully. This pattern will be perfect for my Ralph Lauren inspired guest room.
