How IKEA kitchen installation service works

Installation of a new kitchen is an exciting and comprehensive project, and we want to help you stay on track! Below is a summary of your kitchen installation journey, highlighting the key points.

Kitchen installation service includes:

• Assembly, installation and adjustments of IKEA SEKTION base cabinets, wall cabinets, high cabinets, doors, drawers, corner carousel, legs, plinths, shelves, knobs and handles, all according to manufacturer’s assembly instructions.
• Fit and secure all filler pieces, cover panels, deco strips and plinths
• Cut and install IKEA pre-cut laminate countertops  (stone and custom laminates not included).
• Mount IKEA cabinet lighting with cord management (plug in only)
• Fit and install integrated IKEA appliances and IKEA microwave-hoods
• Clean up, vacuum dust and do a walkthrough of your new IKEA kitchen

Before an IKEA kitchen installation

1. Measure and Plan Your Kitchen. If you haven’t measured or planned your IKEA kitchen yet, we’re here to help! Start your kitchen renovation right with our professional kitchen measuring service to ensure accurate specifications. Then, let our kitchen planning experts design a layout that fits your needs and style.
2. Book your Pre-Installation Visit. Schedule a pre-installation visit with our trusted service provider. We’ll check your space against your proposed kitchen plan and offer advice on any site preparation needed. We’ll also make sure your electricity, plumbing, and HVAC are ready for your new kitchen layout (site conditions permitting).
3. Check Your Delivery. When your kitchen delivery arrives, please confirm that all boxes and appliances have been delivered and are in good condition.
4. Prepare your space. Clear out your old kitchen and take care of any necessary work, such as patching walls, painting, updating plumbing or electrical, or redoing floors. Set up a temporary kitchen if needed. Place all packaging in a nearby room to keep your installation area organized.

During and after an IKEA kitchen installation

5 year limited warranty on installation

Installation warranty is provided by an independent kitchen service providers and is for the installation of IKEA SEKTION kitchen products only. Installation of IKEA KNOXULT kitchen and any Non-IKEA products are warranted for one year. In the event of defects in workmanship and material, and the failure of the products supplied by an independent service provider to confirm with the agreement or warranty, an independent service provider will repair or replace said product or materials; provided, that the defect or malfunction was not due to accidents, alteration by the customer, misuse, abuse or neglect.
