Can I return an item without a receipt?
Receipts are necessary for refunds back to original payment method. However, other options are available.
Don't worry, if you have lost your receipt there are plenty of ways to find a proof of purchase!
Can't find your proof of purchase? We will refund on an IKEA refund card the lowest selling price in the last year. Some conditions apply.
If you purchased an item and you'd like to return it, but you lost your receipt, you have several options.
If you identified as an IKEA Family member for the purchase, you will also be able to find your purchase history when you log into your Family profile.
If you did not scan your IKEA Family card but used a credit card at checkout, chat with us and we may be able to send you a copy. Please have the last four digits of your credit card as well as the date of purchase and the store where the purchase was made.
If you've exhausted these options, you can still bring the item back to the store to see if they will take it back. Any returns will be at the store's discretion, and the store will refund on an IKEA refund card the lowest selling price in the last year.
