Can I exchange an item I recently purchased?
At IKEA, it's ok to change your mind!
IKEA's generous return policy means? If you’re not completely satisfied or simply just change your mind, you can return new and unopened IKEA product within 365 days, with proof of purchase, for a full refund to original method of payment. No rush, no complicated conditions.
We think everyone should be able to test any product, so we take back opened products within 90 days – even assembled ones, as long as it’s in unused and re-saleable condition (in IKEA’s sole discretion) with proof of purchase.
If you'd like a copy of your receipt and you scanned your IKEA Family card at checkout, you can find your receipt in your IKEA Family account. Otherwise you can call or chat with us and we will try our best to help you.
