What do I do if my product has a defect?
Many of our products have a warranty on them. If we can confirm it is a quality issue, we will be able to assist you with a potential returns or refund.
For warranties related to appliances purchased at IKEA, please chat with us or call us at 1-866-866-4532, Monday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
For all other IKEA products, we offer a 365-day return policy for new and unopened products. We take back opened products within 90 days – even assembled ones, as long as it’s in unused and re-saleable condition (at IKEA’s sole discretion) with proof of purchase.
 
 Many of our products also have a limited warranty. If you find yourself within our return policy, with your receipt, feel free to return the product to your local IKEA store. The warranties are valid from the date of purchase at IKEA or date of delivery if later. 
Additionally, we can examine the product itself in store, or you can provide us with pictures to see if it is covered under this warranty. If we confirm there is a quality issue, we will replace it with the same or a comparable product. If the item is no longer sold, we will provide an appropriate replacement.
