What happens if I return an item purchased with one or more IKEA Family rewards?
The corresponding number of points will be deducted automatically, within 24 to 48 hours, and the reward will be lost.
When you use a reward on an item, the price of the item is reduced. As a result, points are deducted based on the amount you paid. Since each reward code is unique, you won't be able to reuse it.
As per our Terms and Conditions,
"Points earned on the purchase of items which are subsequently returned will be deducted from your points balance, based on the value of any returned item(s). If the deduction results in a negative points balance, IKEA will not make any claim against you for the deficit. Points are non-refundable and non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for money or used as partial payment for the purchase of products or services unless such purchase is a claimed reward."
