If you oil, wax, lacquer or stain the untreated solid wood surface it will be more durable and easy to care for.
The hard-wearing solid pine has natural variations in grain, color and texture, giving every piece a unique look.
There’s plenty of space under the bed for storage boxes - perfect for storing extra duvets and pillows.
You can easily vacuum under the bed frame to keep the space clean and dust-free.

Tarva BedframeChristinaEasy to put together. Attractive and is more than sufficient for our guest bedroom as long as all three grandchildren don’t jump on it altogether at the same time. 😉
Great simple frameShoshannaI was pleasantly surprised that the frame was made out of real wood. It is simple but sturdy. Exactly what we needed.
Sturdy and easy to assembleNicoleBought for my son and assembled with him. One piece in the box was damaged so I had to return to store to exchange it but did so with no issues and built bed with no issues He loves his new bed frame
Very SturdyKimI love the metal brackets that are supporting the mattress. It was easy to build!
Not a standard queen size bedKathyWe bought two for guests and installed and bought the queen mattress from other stores- none of the standard queen mattress could fit in- never in this situation before . Had to dissemble them and return.
Worst bed frame ever.NishantsinhThis has been one of the worst experiences, especially with the slats.
I had an IKEA Morgedal mattress and purchased this bed frame along with the new slats. Within just two days of using the bed frame, the mattress started bending inward significantly in the middle. At first, I thought the problem might be because my mattress was old.
To rule that out, I purchased a brand-new set of slats and, at the same time, bought a brand-new IKEA Valevåg mattress. Unfortunately, things got even worse. The new mattress started sagging badly in the middle, and I am now experiencing back pain because of it.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the slats and the overall experience. I would not recommend this bed frame unless the slat support is improved. Very disappointing!
Clean and simpleChristineWhy complicate things when you can use this bed frame? Very easy to assemble and the clean design matches any decor.
splitting apart from where it’s gluedHimauliIt is splitting apart from where it is glued in a year. Such a disappointing experience as spending $200 for a year is not something everyone can afford.
5 years strong!JulianI absolutely love this bed frame. It’s so light, easy to take apart, I’ve moved with it twice and it has always been the easiest piece of furniture to move. Sometimes it gets squeaky but I just tighten it up again and it’s golden. This bed frame is so worth the money!
I will say, for the initial assembly, the instructions weren’t lying about it being a two person job.
TarvaNedaIt is good
Overpriced garbage, do not buy this junkDanielThis bedframe started squeaking after 2 months and I can't return it and get my money back. Ikea sells garbage furniture, do not buy this junk.
mattress dips in middleArushiThe slats have an issue or the bed frame, the mattress dips in middle so you roll towards middle while sleeping.
GoodYuliaNice bed
Good quality bed frame strong and comfortable.ManojGood quality bed frame strong and comfortable.
Love my new bed!KarenBought this recently and assembled with the help of a YouTube video. It’s perfect! Sturdy with a clean design. Using it with my 13” mattress and a box spring. May try the slats instead- which I brought home. Bought this before surgery to make things easier. The price was great- chose the full size. At the store it looked very low but isn’t with my mattress. Very happy 🤍🤍🤍🎉🎉🎉
Bed broke in a dayMadhuriWe assembled the product exactly as instructed, went to bed, and in the middle of the night it collapsed straight to the ground. The screws chipped right through the wood and the entire thing fell apart. Extremely disappointing and honestly, a safety concern.
I reached out to customer service and have yet to receive any response. Very unhappy with this purchase.
SplittingSaraUnfortunately got this less than a year ago and currently the wood is splitting apart where it was glued together.
Pretty but that's itMeganPurchased this bed in 2016. While it is in my eyes a simplified and beautiful looking bed. It's nice to look at, it smells like pine even now. But it's horrible for sleeping, if you move around in your sleep like a toss and turn. The mattress support planks that keep you off the floor will "pop" and bam you are on the floor. where the bed is supposed to hold and keep the planks, it doesn't. it's annoying at 3am to lift your mattress and put the planks back. Only to do it again in 3 or 4 days.
4 stars for valueBryceLooks good, its functional, and its cheap. Gotta periodically retighten it to prevent creaking though. Id buy it again

What is solid wood?
Solid wood is one of our favourite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable.
