Worst bed frame ever.NishantsinhThis has been one of the worst experiences, especially with the slats.
I had an IKEA Morgedal mattress and purchased this bed frame along with the new slats. Within just two days of using the bed frame, the mattress started bending inward significantly in the middle. At first, I thought the problem might be because my mattress was old.
To rule that out, I purchased a brand-new set of slats and, at the same time, bought a brand-new IKEA Valevåg mattress. Unfortunately, things got even worse. The new mattress started sagging badly in the middle, and I am now experiencing back pain because of it.
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the slats and the overall experience. I would not recommend this bed frame unless the slat support is improved. Very disappointing!

splitting apart from where it’s gluedHimauliIt is splitting apart from where it is glued in a year. Such a disappointing experience as spending $200 for a year is not something everyone can afford.
5 years strong!JulianI absolutely love this bed frame. It’s so light, easy to take apart, I’ve moved with it twice and it has always been the easiest piece of furniture to move. Sometimes it gets squeaky but I just tighten it up again and it’s golden. This bed frame is so worth the money!
I will say, for the initial assembly, the instructions weren’t lying about it being a two person job.

Love my new bed!KarenBought this recently and assembled with the help of a YouTube video. It’s perfect! Sturdy with a clean design. Using it with my 13” mattress and a box spring. May try the slats instead- which I brought home. Bought this before surgery to make things easier. The price was great- chose the full size. At the store it looked very low but isn’t with my mattress. Very happy 🤍🤍🤍🎉🎉🎉
Bed broke in a dayMadhuriWe assembled the product exactly as instructed, went to bed, and in the middle of the night it collapsed straight to the ground. The screws chipped right through the wood and the entire thing fell apart. Extremely disappointing and honestly, a safety concern.
I reached out to customer service and have yet to receive any response. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Pretty but that's itMeganPurchased this bed in 2016. While it is in my eyes a simplified and beautiful looking bed. It's nice to look at, it smells like pine even now. But it's horrible for sleeping, if you move around in your sleep like a toss and turn. The mattress support planks that keep you off the floor will "pop" and bam you are on the floor. where the bed is supposed to hold and keep the planks, it doesn't. it's annoying at 3am to lift your mattress and put the planks back. Only to do it again in 3 or 4 days.
Une bonne base de lit avec un petit défautAndreAprès avoir déposé un matelas hybride tout neuf sur la base de lit (double/full), j'ai constaté que le matelas creusait au centre vis-à-vis la barre de soutien en métal de la base. Cela est dû au fait que les planchettes de bois arquées soutiennent mieux les côtés du matelas que le centre. Pour pallier à ce défaut, j'ai ajusté le niveau du centre de la base avec deux couvertures pliées de façon à compenser la déclivité dûe au planchettes de soutien. Maintenant le lit est bien au niveau et le sommeil confortable !

Sturdy and matches almost any decorAnonymousLove that it's customizable for stain, but even as it is, it fits any kind of decor. It's comfy, fairly easy to build, looks great, and I chose it because it's real wood.
SURPRISINGLY STURDYRuthPurchased this as a temporary addition to the main floor while recovering from surgery. We were both pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness of the construction. It may not look particularly sturdy, but it certainly is. I really wish more items were made of solid wood at Ikea as in the past and as in the Tarva line.
