Can I return a product in store?
If you have purchased from IKEA Australia online or in-store, you can return your product to any IKEA store in Australia.
- Open the Express return form.
- Add your receipt/order number details. You need to have your receipt/proof of purchase available when creating the return. If you don't have it physically, you can find it by accessing your Purchase history page if you're an IKEA Family member.
- Enter the products you want to return. You can add up to 10 items.
- Provide all requested details. You will for example have to choose a reason for your return.
- Submit the form once everything is complete.
- Receive your return barcode. It will be sent to you via SMS and email.
- Visit an IKEA store within 14 days, along with the barcode and the product(s) you want to return. The Return & Exchange desk is usually located near the entrance/exit of the IKEA store. Once you get there, you will find a specific queue for customers who have created an express return.
