Why can't I place an order?

Your ability to place an order is affected by stock availability at your nearest store or warehouse and subject to the availability of timeslots.

 

Stock

If you're ordering online and getting delivery to NSW, QLD, VIC, NT (parcel only) or TAS, our products can come from a separate warehouse that fulfills online orders and is subject to the availability of stock there. This is also dependent on your location to our stores and warehouses as your order will come from the nearest location that has your products. 

Orders such as Click and Collect, or orders from WA and SA however, will be fulfilled from your local IKEA store. You may not be able to order products that are low in stock (yellow) to prevent overselling. Please consider purchasing these items in store or waiting for stock to replenish before placing your order. 

Timeslot Availability

If stock is the not the reason you are unable to place an order, it may also be due to unavailable timeslots. If you are placing an order for Home Delivery, we may have exhausted all of the available bookings for the time being. If you are placing a Click and Collect order, we may have reached the maximum number of orders that day. In either case, please try agin in 1-2 days. 

Unavailable Online

Some fragile items may not be available for parcel delivery to prevent damage during transportation. This will indicate that the item is for purchase in-store only. 

Few select products are also not available for purchase online, but if this is the case, there will not be an option to add to bag.
