What should I do if I haven’t received my refund?
It can take up to 7 business days from when a refund is initiated for the money to appear in your account. If it has been longer than that, follow the steps below to help you locate your refund and check its status.
Find your refund
- Search for the refund amount in your online mobile bank in addition to searching for ‘IKEA’. In some cases, IKEA may not appear as the sender name.
- Check the original purchase date. Sometimes the refund is listed under the same date as when you first paid for your order in your mobile bank.
- Verify the payment method used. Refunds are always made to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless otherwise stated. This may be a different card, account or payment option (like Paypal, IKEA Gift card, IKEA Refund card, or PayPal Pay in 4) to the one you are currently using.
- Note that purchases and refunds cannot be made with non-Australian issued debit and credit cards online or in the app.
Still haven’t received the money after 7 business days?
Check the status of your refund
- Log in to your IKEA Family profile.
- Go to ‘Purchases’, then select ‘Cases and returns’.
- Click the arrow next to your case to view the latest updates.
