ExquisiteIraMy decor is Gullah Geechee Coastal. I bought the Vonsbak three times. The first time I purchased the smaller one for my walk-in closet to match my blue Billy bookcase converted into a shoe rack but based on misinformation, I gave it away. The second time, as I contemplated wall hangings, I realized that the large Vonsbak was perfect for the living room’s minimalist classic vibe: black leather chaise longue, black leather ottoman, black brown bookcases. It worked beautifully. Next it occurred to me that a smaller Vonsbak gave the color flow needed for Gullah Coastal Geechee decor and so back into the closet it went. Fabulous. All that’s needed now is a chandelier. The Vonsbak does show white paper pieces but nothing a gentle sweep with a broom cannot cure. I am pleased with my rugs, including another one from IKEA that is handmade wool with beautiful colors: terra cotta, Moroccan blue, pale yellow, soft green. Just exquisite. You never know what awaits you at IKEA.5
Aggressively sheds fibersEthanI like the look and feel of this rug. Unfortunately just from regular foot traffic or a rolling chair on one edge, there are mounds of fibers that the rug has shed. I pickup all of the fiber clumps prior to vacuuming, but during vacuuming so many fibers are still pulled up it usually clogs my vacuum (it's happened from day one, and has continued through almost a year of owning this rug.)1

Love them but so longDaniWay to long for my sliding doors even if I put at ceiling to the floor. I guess it could drape all over the floor but I hate that look . If you have super vaulted ceilings these would be amazing with or without track system . Extreme block out of light and beautiful in color! IKEA please get more sizes !4

Nice but has its problemsErinI love the feel and look of this rug but the ends keep rolling up no matter what I try to do to flatten it. Also EVERYTHING sticks to this rug. Be ready to be vacuuming constantly if you’re a neat freak like me because bay crumb, lint, leaf, fur whatever I’ll stick to this rug and stand out against the dark color. Despite these negatives I still enjoy the rug.3
