We didn’t unwrap the rug for a few days until we were ready for it. That same day we noticed a small but very noticeable snag or end of thread in it. Whether it was snagged or an end of thread we don’t know if it was from the factory or here. We were very careful unwrapping it and unrolling it. The wrapping on it was not damaged.
This rug is not very greenSavannahThe weave is crisp and nice, but the color is much more gray than it appears in the photo. Yes, even in outdoor sunlight. If you were expecting a sort of forest/olive green color, don’t get this rug

Won’t lay flat on sidesLindsayI have purchased three of these over the years. The two that I already own have held up very well, so I decided to add another to use in an adjacent room. The long edges keep curling up. I have tried everything, but they won’t stay flat and there are ripples in the rug. It appears to me a manufacturing defect which is really disappointing as it’s hard to get to a store to make a return.

So I wanted to share here, that my rug is perfect. It's not a soft, cozy rug on your feet, because it's made as either an indoor or outdoor rug. So keep that in mind. We will probably use this rug in dining room and get a softer, shaggier rug for the living room. This was my first time ever going to ikea, and WOW! The store is HUMUNGOUS! I spoke with a sales-person who said she started working at ikea, it was supposed to only be temporary, like 3 months. She's been there for over 15 years! She loves working there and the pay is good, she said. My husband was exhausted at the end because we did so much walking! 🤣🤣 It was a fun store to explore. I recommend going when you get the chance.
Edges curl up and is a tripping hazardOliviaI usually love all of my Ikea purchases, unfortunately this rug is not very good for outdoor spaces. I put it on a covered porch and the edges are curling up on every side, despite trying to weigh them down, which makes it a tripping hazard. I had this delivered and do not live near a store, so I'm not able to take it back to return it, but wanted to at least warn others. I would not purchase this again for an outdoor area. It may work just fine as an inside rug.

Won’t lay flat on edges 🫤ConnieI have been buying these rugs since they came out. I replace when worn at about 2 years. The quality/manufacturing has changed and no matter what we do or how long we weight them down, they NEVER lay flat on the long sides. Sad because they are so perfect on my well used front porch. Not worth returning.
