Different rug, same nameRandiIn early 2025 this was one of the most stunning rugs I've ever seen/felt. Warm color, incredibly soft. Built entire living room design scheme around it. Then I needed medical treatment and had to postpone my move. A year later I went to IKEA, and as evidenced by other online reviews, this is a different rug. Lighter color. Feels rough and almost tacky/sticky. Not even close to what it was. I have been dreaming of this rug and this move for a year and am incredibly disappointed to not have the hygge, incredibly soft rug that once was sold. Last IKEA rug lasted 14 years. Now I have to look elsewhere. PS- In store this rug also off-gassed and smelled awful.

High pile feels greatJoelHigh pile is a great way for me to get a nice add foot rub… esp on a cold day. it could use a nice thick carpet pad for that extra cushy feeling.
Plushness a step aboveNathanIt is a synthetic rug, which I did not want want, but IKEA's $500ish wool rugs are in the 7' 7" range, which I just could not do under a normal couch. So I went with this one. It is a shag rug which a step above in quality and density than your average Target/Home Depot/Lowes/Amazon etc. rug around $200-250 for an 8x10. This one is a little smaller in width and a little more expensive than that, so the price is proportional with your normal IKEA value. It is a warm white which may cause pause for some, but there is enough texture to where a little ding is not going to destroy your enjoyment of it. It has transformed my living room which has darkish floors. I cought a Saveveigh wool rug for $420 from Target before this. It came, I returned it. It was extremely low density, stretchy, and loose.It felt like it would desinigrate in a year. A great buy, but if you can swing it, get a good wool rug, but make sure it is not too cheap to be true. IKEA's wook rugs feel high quality.

Great fast delivery, rolled out the carpet and it looked perfect. Will order 3 more since they are so beautiful.
