Does not squeek at all. In fact, I'm very impressed on how sturdy the frame is - and it is Squeekless.
Make sure the rails are fully over the screws and the rails are pushed fully down (attached to the head and foot boards - two screws in each corner).
You must the tighten the screws snugly with the allen tool. This can be tedious (not much room in the slot opening) but must be done to have a squeek free frame.

After tightening all the screws (though avoiding stripping), the bed squeaks at the tiniest TINIEST movement. I once had hiccups and I couldn’t get any sleep because the bed would vigorously squeak. Additionally support beams sit on the head/foot board and are not secured - so when I slid a box under, it rose the beam and the head/foot board collapsed onto me grateful that my cat wasn’t underneath. Because the bed was so pretty and assumed mine was defective, I recommended it to my sister who is also small build. Since she got it, her bedframe has also been non-stop squeaking. When reading reviews how the bed is sturdy and quiet, I’m genuinely curious how people were able to achieve this. Love the look otherwise.3

Very solid, and attractiveRichard T.We waited to get one of these due to a stocking delay, so I’m pleased to report that it met our expectations. Putting it together is not difficult, just tedious if (like me) you’re working with hand tools instead of power tools. The bolts that go into the headboard and footboard pretty much require manual tools. Steel is a bit heavy but it’s great, it stays where you put it.5

Be ready!Vanessa A.I bought this bed 2 years ago, I did not know that the screws will loosen up because I put it together twice in the two years. I finally settled into my current home and let me tell you… yes, it starts off sturdy, but after a while it gets so squeaky you’ll get the worst sleep of your life. Every movement makes a a creek. SO BE AWARE you will have to tighten the screws every year. Of course ikea is quality and I’ve definitely had an old fashioned sleep over where 4 of us hop on the bed to watch movies and play video games.
Style wise: omg it’s gorgeous, classic, timeless even. The white is off, not bright or dull, just a warm white. This bed makes my room look so pretty!
I love it and definitely recommend it.
Oh yeah …Just know the side railing screws are the culprit of the squeak and they’re a little hard to get to with the Alan wrench. Doable, but kinda frustrating.5
